Finger Lakes Community College Honors House will host its seventh annual “Words and Music” at its facility, 4340 Lakeshore Drive in Hopewell, highlighting fingerstyle guitarists Mark Arnold and Kinloch Nelson. The evening of music and discussion will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, and will feature a variety of music styles: American folk, Spanish music, Japanese folk and many other genres. Nelson, pictured, was on the University of Rochester faculty for 25 years. The Rochester resident teaches privately, conducts guitar workshops and maintains a busy performance schedule. Arnold, a 2001 FLCC alumnus and Bristol resident, is an active performer and teacher in the Finger Lakes, who teaches at FLCC and has taught at Hochstein School of Music and Mobile Music in Canandaigua and Cobblestone
