Shing's BBQ Shack Opens in Shinnston

If you have a craving for a tasty pulled pork sandwich we may have found just the place for you.

Shing's BBQ shack is now open on Haywood Road just outside Shinnston.

Owner Lea Ann Shingleton said she and her husband picked the location because it is the second-busiest intersection in Harrison County.

The Shack sells pulled pork sandwiches exclusively along with special grilled corn and cole slaw on the side.

Shingleton said her secret recipe and cooking style is what sets her pulled pork apart from others.

"We take our pork and we slow cook it between ten and twelve hours," Shingleton said. "We have a special rub that we use, fresh Abbrunzio's buns, they're grilled with garlic and butter and toasted."

Shing's is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
