It's Your Business: Five Guys to join crowd at Lone Star site

Five Guys Burgers and Fries , one of the nation's fastest-growing fast-food chains, is coming to Champaign's North Prospect Avenue area.

Five Guys will join previously announced Chipotle Mexican Grill , The Vitamin Shoppe and Mattress Firm in a two-building development at the former site of Lone Star Steakhouse.

The old Lone Star building at 901 W. Anthony Drive, C, was demolished, and foundations for the two new buildings were poured last week, said Rob Walters, one of the owners of Oak Brook-based Quattro Development.

Blocks for the two buildings' walls are expected to go up this week, he said.

Five Guys and The Vitamin Shoppe will occupy the 5,300-square-foot northern building, while Chipotle and Mattress Firm will be in the 6,900-square-foot southern building.
