Chamber hands out biz awards

Business of the Year honours went to Sandycove Acres. The corporation has been part of Innisfil for over 40 years. It started with 100 homes and is now the largest Adult Lifestyle Community in Ontario with more than 1800 residents. Sandy Cove marketing has helped put Innisfil on the map, according to the Chamber.  Residents have reportedly come from as far as Europe and the Bahamas. The company supports local clubs, sports organizations, events, services and charities. They donated to RVH and the new recreation centre and have sponsored large donations of trees to outdoor reading libraries at both Cookstown Library and Sunnybrae Public School.   Pet Country Estate scooped the Chamber's Community Award.
