Propane AutoGas Alliance Sees Growth Amidst Rising Gas Prices

ASHEVILLE, N.C., Mar 19, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Alliance AutoGas is continuing to expand its national partner network, welcoming new fueling partners Maine Energy of Bangor, Maine, and Parker Gas of Clinton, N.C. In the face of skyrocketing gasoline prices, more American fleets are making the switch to clean, affordable propane autogas through comprehensive resources and guidance from Alliance AutoGas.

"I know a lot of local fleets have been hit hard by gasoline prices climbing toward $4 per gallon," says Robert Cort, president of Maine Energy, which is also a new certified Alliance conversion center. "We're pleased to offer a clean-burning, cost-effective fuel as part of the Alliance AutoGas program. And because we coordinate every step of the conversion process, including installing on-site autogas stations at no up-front cost, fleets can start saving from day one with reduced fuel prices and maintenance needs."
