Go simple for spring with Chorizo Shrimp Skewers

I get a lot of cookbooks in the mail. I tend to favor the ones with the simplest recipes.

The latest one to catch my eye is "Food Network Magazine 1,000 Easy Recipes" by the editors of Food Network Magazine.

One recipe that I can't wait to try is one for marinated shrimp and chorizo skewers. Even owners of kitchen counter grills can make this one.

Larraine Brinley wrote several times asking for recipes from the former Maas Bros. department store restaurant. Most recently, she wanted the warm bacon dressing that was served with the spinach-based "Popeye Salad."

Joan M. Holshue of Apollo Beach, a frequent Recipes Lost & Found contributor, took a shot at the request. "Maybe this is the warm bacon dressing recipe Larraine requested," Joan writes.
