Steak and BJ Day

For Steak and BJ Day I offer up a simple steak recipe along with a cocktail to top of the evening. Since temperatures are above normal all across the country, so let us fire up those grills to make this steak.

Simple Steak Recipe

Let your raw steak come to room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour before cooking. With a mixture of kosher or sea salt and coarse, fresh-ground pepper as a seasoning, press it gently into the meat's surface on both sides and around it's edges. Be sure your flames are 500 degrees or more, preheat the grill until it's smokin' hot, and sear your steak to form a nice crust. Don't worry about trying to get both sides evenly brown. You do not want to overcook the steak, so turn it over with tongs or a spatula, NEVER grilling forks. Keep the turning
