The Cheesecake Factory Opens as Part of City Creek Complex
The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant opened its latest location in the newly opened City Creek Center in Salt Lake City on Thursday, March 22, 2012. The influx of customers in the Center was above the estimated 50,000 people; the actual count was closer to 75,000 on Thursday. The Cheesecake Factory saw more than its fair share of that number.
The original Cheesecake Factory Restaurant was incorporated in Beverly Hills, CA, in 1978. Now the corporation boasts 171 upscale casual dining restaurants across the U.S. Two factories that specialize in cheesecakes only are located in Calabasas Hills, CA and Rocky Mount, NC. This newest restaurant in the chain begins with fresh new menu items that include recipes from around the world.
The Factory’s culinary inspiration comes from scanning the globe and this spring they have added a dozen new items to their menu that already contains 200 delicious choices and 30 decadent cheesecakes. Every dish is made to order, in-house, always using the freshest ingredients available. A low-calorie SkinnyLicious™ menu joins Small Plates and Snacks, new entrees, sandwiches, side dishes, Sunday Brunch and milkshakes.
