Carroll County Collage: Roast to help Bowerston couple

In November, Bowerston’s Gayle Yosick was diagnosed with a rare form of life-threatening gallbladder cancer.

Her husband, Felix, the family’s sole breadwinner, was in a work-related accident in January and sustained a broken pelvis (front and back), fractured hand, bruised lung and two fractured ribs. He faces four to five months of bed rest and another several more months of rehab.

A benefit roast beef dinner with all the trimmings and an auction to help with their growing expenses will be 4 to 7 p.m. March 4 at the Western Grill on Main Street in Bowerston.
