Jenks Riverwalk Crossing gearing up for summer

Just in time for summer, expanding business and road closures are on the way Jenks. The outdoor music series kicks off Saturday as well.  Some businesses have struggled at the Riverwalk Crossing. Now that a new management company is in charge, some owners say they are going strong.

Gina and Guiseppe's Italian Restaurant is named after Chris Drover's grandparents. Like their love, he says the restaurant located at the Jenks Riverwalk, is still going strong.  "We will always just give the best service that we possibly can at the time. We just won't ever stop," said Chris Drover Gina & Guiseppe's Chef.

Not all businesses have thrived. The Grille closed. It was part of the second phase of development at the Riverwalk Crossing. It opened in September and owners say they had to close in December because the crowds fizzled in the winter. Former property owners of the Riverwalk Crossing are in foreclosure. "We are going to bring in the lights. We are going to bring in the music. We are going to bring in the right people," Drover said.
