Home profile: A home worthy of the title, 'picturesque'

Sweet, sweeter or sweetest. That “is” one of the most picturesque houses in town. Known as the “Little Yellow House,” this 1850 cottage-style home has all the accoutrements expected with such a residence: a brick paver walkway and a custom-designed, hand-built white picket fence with a swinging gate.

This sweetheart of a house also has an amazing something-always-in-bloom perennial English garden that includes Golden Celebration roses and clematis “Rubens.” The Golden Chair tree and the Colorado Mountain Ash are spectacular, too.

Even better, the interior matches the exterior with unique features, nine-foot ceilings, interesting details, a plethora of amenities and, of course, charm.

Incidentally, with the exception of the dining room, every room in the house is on a corner creating natural air conditioning, a.k.a., cross ventilation.
