DEEDS: Summer concert season begins in the Treasure Valley ... no kidding

S ummertime is just around the corner. OK, not even close.

Still, you’ve gotta love the Eagle River Pavilion for breaking the outdoor-concert ice with the revelation of a K.D. Lang (er, k.d. lang) show Thursday, July 12.

Personally, I plan to wear Chacos to work beginning Monday.

The concert, which goes on sale March 2 at Ticketfly, is the first of what Eagle promoter CTTouring envisions as another 12- to 15-show series during the warmer months at the Pavilion.

Lang tickets will cost $35 lawn, $49.50 reserved seat and $99.50 VIP.

She has never performed in the Treasure Valley, organizers say. (While I believe that’s true, whenever I make one of these omniscient never-been-here-before proclamations, some smarty-pants pops out of the woodwork with a killer show they supposedly caught in 1692.)
