Centerplate Branches Out For 2012 Portland Timbers Menu

/PRNewswire/ -- From hometown Zenner's brats to Thai Curry, Centerplate, the nation's largest hospitality partner to North America's premier convention centers, sports stadiums and entertainment venues, announced today a bold, new menu for the Portland Timbers 2012 season at JELD-WEN Field. The menu pairs new, international flavors alongside local Portland favorites, including locally-sourced, free-range and hormone-free meats.

"We are proud to serve Portland Timbers' Fans," said Ben Forsythe, Centerplate's General Manager responsible for the field. "Besides traditional stadium fare, we will also be offering a variety of foods not generally associated with sporting experiences. For example, we will serve Pho', a Vietnamese noodle soup popular in Portland, from a custom-designed cart. Our 2012 menu enhancements are designed specifically to delight Timbers fans and will truly add to their enjoyment of game day."
