Lebanon men charged
with taking propane tank
Two Lebanon men were arrested Monday and charged with stealing a propane tank from a construction site.
State police at Jonestown said Julio Aviles, 43, and Hilton Perez-Pagan, 24, stole a 1,000-pound propane tank from a new home construction site on Sweetbriar Lane.
Aviles and Perez-Pagan returned to the area of the theft with the propane tank in the back of their truck while a state trooper was investigating the incident and were taken into custody about 11:45 a.m., police said.
Aviles and Perez-Pagan were taken to Central Booking and charged with theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and conspiracy, police said.
