1300 block of 57th Street, Jan. 29 — Police arrested and charged two men, ages 21 and 19, with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and interference after a man saw them break into two vehicles in his neighborhood.

3500 block of 37th Street, Jan. 29 — A man came home to find his back door pried open and a laptop, a pair of Nike shoes, a bracelet, diamond earrings, valued together at $2,450, as well as a jewelry box and a game console, stolen.

50th Street and Meredith Drive, Jan. 30 — Two males reported that they were giving two friends a ride when two other males got into the car with handguns and stole the car at gunpoint.

2400 block of East 30th Court, Jan. 30 — A safe, cash, two handguns and jewelry were reported stolen from a woman’s duplex after the door was kicked in and the woman was assaulted while sleeping.
