Backyard BBQ competition returns
Summit Charitable Events Foundation, organizer of the Hudson Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival, is accepting team applications for the amateur Backyard BBQ competition portion of the festival, scheduled for June 18 and 19 in downtown Hudson.
The entry fee is $125 per team and includes a Weber kettle grill, utensils and a meat thermometer, all of which the team may keep after the festival. Each team will be provided with charcoal and a quartered chicken to barbecue on site in the competition.
Backyard Barbecue team application forms and tickets are available on the festival website at www.hudsonbluesbrewsandbbq.com . The deadline for entry is May 14.
