Food trucks roll into town for 35 Denton

Finding the food

The coordinators of 35 Denton said they hope both Denton and the truck owners will reap the benefits of the festival.

“Their participation is integral to our success, and we hope to add to their success in return,” Bender said.

Bender said that a new city ordinance is in the works that will allow mobile eateries to set up shop throughout the streets of Denton, which will boost the economy and individuality of the city.

“The inclusion of food trucks at the festival will only fuel the fire of those already inspired to grow a Denton mobile food culture,” she said.

Lee’s Grilled Cheese founders Lee Perez and Keith Lee Weber said they began their business in 2010 when they left the video game industry for the dream of making gooey grilled cheese sandwiches.
