Tin Roof BBQ to be featured on new television show

Traditional barbecue cooked on a pit with homemade sauce and all of the sides are staples for Tin Roof BBQ.

The restaurant has become a mainstay for many around the community and a special treat for visitors, one in particular, a friend of a crew member for a new television show, “Roadtrip with G. Garvin,” set to air this summer.

“A producer for the show has a friend who lives in the area and when they were asked where they eat barbecue, they said Tin Roof BBQ,” Ronnie Webber, Tin Roof BBQ co-owner, said.

The crew for the show shot footage at the restaurant, sampled the barbecue and let the owners know they would be back in touch with them if they were going to feature Tin Roof BBQ.

The Webbers received the call Feb. 4 notifying them the restaurant would be featured on the first episode of the new show on the Cooking Channel.
