3. Oakfield Historical Society Meeting - 7 p.m. April 3 at the Village Meeting Hall. Darlene Warner to speak on the Oakfield Fertilizer Co a 1890's business. It had world wide recognition, rave reviews of its product and the best productive farm in the county. Where was it and what happened to it. Questions call Darlene 948-5500.

4. Lenten Soup Supper - Wednesday, April 4 at the Sacred Heart Social Center, 17 Sumner St., Batavia. Adults cost $4, ages 6 to 12 cost $2 and children under 5 are free. Includes soup, salad, bread, crackers, drink and dessert. For more info., call Marcia Palmer at 343-0061.
