WEAPON

Kurt W. Swanson, 42, of the 400 block of W. Main St., Cary, was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon following a traffic stop on the 400 block of Chicago Avenue at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 10. He was also held on three active DuPage County arrest warrants. Swanson, whose bond is listed as “in progress,” has a Feb. 17 court date.

BURGLARY

Antwjuan Duane Thomas, 18, of the first block of S. Mayfield, Chicago, was arrested on the first block of Mayfield at 2:44 p.m. Feb. 7, and charged with an attempted burglary on the first block of S. Austin Boulevard. He was ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bond and has a March 2 court date.

Deonta Smith, 20, of the 600 block of S. Humphrey Avenue was arrested on the first block of Mayfield at 2:44 p.m. Feb. 7, and charged with a burglary on the 200 block of S. Harvey Avenue.
